Welcome to Rwanda! All travelers from non-exempt countries (see list below) are required to get a visa to enter to Rwanda for tourism or visiting purposes.
The Electronic Visa (eVisa) for Rwanda is an official document granted by the Government of Rwanda permitting entry into and traveling to Rwanda. Applicants may apply online for a single-entry visa, which allows them to enter to for up to 30 days, or a multiple-entry visa for a period of 90 days.
Now it is easier than ever to visit Rwanda! You can obtain the required eVisa by filling a simple form online. The only documentation needed to apply is your passport. No further documentation is required.
If you are also visiting Uganda and/or Kenya, you can apply for an East African Visa, a multi-entry tourist visa that allows you to travel to and within Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya for tourism
